The MARA auction has a long history as both a fun event and as MARA’s primary fundraiser. The proceeds from the auction allow the program to provide needs-based financial assistance to our athletes. Together with your auction support we can continue to keep MARA an accessible program for all who strive to become skiers for life.
The 20th annual auction will be held at the Mt. Ashland Lodge on October 19, 2019 and we will also be celebrating MARA’s 50th year in operation. This is MARA’s only fundraiser of the year. The proceeds from this auction helps continue our successful program, allows us to reduce the membership costs and provides scholarships based on financial need. For your safety and convenience, we will have a shuttle bus transporting auction participants between Ashland Hills Hotel and the Mount Ashland Lodge. Ashland Hills Hotel will have a special offer for MARA auction participants to stay the night (just mention the MARA auction when booking). Alternatively, the Ashland Springs Hotel is the perfects site for planning a carpool or getting home via taxi, Uber or Lyft.
