FILM FUNDRAISER FOR MARA~Friday, Nov 21st!

The party will continue with live music until midnight!

ski and snowboard sequences make “Under the Influence” a must see
movie. More than just a movie night, we’ll dance the night away with
live music performed by *Indubious and Diligence Co.* Silent auction
treasures and door prizes will abound. Delicious food from Creekside
Pizza Bistro will satisfy your hunger and cool refreshments from the
Widmer Brewing Company will quench your thirst. Bring your family
and bring your friends. Make it a night to remember. Tickets are $10
in advance ($12 at the door) and are available at Rogue Ski Shop in
Medford and Aedion Board Shop (formerly Low Down) in Ashland.
MARA
and Teton Gravity Research (TGR) proudly present Under the Influence,
a 16mm and HD ski and snowboard film showcasing the outstanding riding
of today’s top mountain athletes. Utilizing innovative filming techniques,
the Jackson Hole-based film crew continues to dominate the world of
action sports cinematography by bringing viewers the most vivid mountain
riding experience with Under the Influence. TGR scattered the planet
filming virgin spines in Alaska, cowboy-style park-jumps at Grand
Targhee, pillow popping lines deep in the Northwest and relentless
powder in the Jackson Hole backcountry. TGR’s thirteenth feature ski
and snowboard film, Under the Influence examines the people, places
and moments that inspire us to ride.

JOIN US AT DRYLAND TRAINING!
Dryland training is back! This year
we have formed an amazing partnership with the Medford Family YMCA.
They are allowing YMCA members and non-members to use their facilities
without cost! Training will take place in the upstairs workout room
on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Dryland workouts
will build on skills and drills learned at each meeting so please
try to attend as many as possible for the best results. All MARA
youth participants registering for the 2009 season who are 9 years
old or over are eligible for the Dryland Training. Interested in
