This year’s MARA Auction will be held on Saturday, November¬†3rd at 5:30pm at the Historic Ashland Armory. The MARA auction has a long history as both a fun and festive event and as MARA’s primary, club-wide fundraiser. This year, the auction plays an especially vital role in reviving our MARA Fund whose main purpose is to supplement our coaching costs and to provide needs based financial assistance with program fees so as to keep our program accessible to all athletes. Additionally, our auction fundraiser also helps to support the club’s ability to invest in new equipment and to host special events. The overall success of the auction however is directly determined by the level of involvement of the membership at large. With your help organizing, donating and participating in the auction, we can continue to keep MARA an accessible program for all who strive to become skiers for life. Please consider volunteering, donating or attending and supporting our MARA Auction this year. This year’s live band, delicious dinner, and local wines and brews are sure to help us put the “fun” in fundraising. Auction tickets are $50 per person. The best deal is to buy a full table of 8 for $360. That’s $45 per person, or just about 8 for the price of 7. The silent auction starts at 5:30 PM. Hope to see you there!
