Gertrude Hawk started making chocolates at the height of the Great Depression in her own kitchen as a way to supplement their family income. Early in the company’s history, they started selling chocolates to clubs and churches as fundraisers. They’ve grown substantially, making a private line of chocolates for Macy’s and many of the chocolate ingredients included in ice creams, but they still have a very active fundraising wing.
Gertrude Hawk has two advantages. First, they make great products that tend to sell themselves. Second, and more importantly, the program can be managed individually on line, so your athlete can sell products to their friends and family all over the world, all year long.
