MARA Program Information
The Four Levels of MARA Development

Masters Program
Great news! The MARA Friday Masters program is back again this season. On selected Fridays MARA will be offering instruction for intermediate to advanced skiers and racers. So, for timid adult skiers to recreational racers MARA will have a program for you. Whether you are looking to simply increase your confidence, hone your overall skiing skills or improve your recreational ski racing abilities, the MARA coaching staff will be ready to help.
The Mt. Ashland Racing Association will offer the Adult Masters Ski Program on selected Fridays during January, February and March. The nine day Sunday program will remain the same as past seasons catering to one group of advanced skiers. Skip Fox, our MARA program coordinator and head coach along with other experienced coaches will share their love for the sport of skiing and racing with all participants.
The program incorporates performance skiing skills in different types of snow conditions and terrain with the practice of modern racing techniques.
Video Analysis of participants will help in defining a proper mental image without which efficient skiing movements are not possible.
