MARA has offered a snowboard program for several years, but it has has never developed much of a following. We are rethinking ways to integrate snowboarding into MARA, but for the 2011-2012 season, MARA will not offer a snowboard program.
Mt. Ashland Ski Area offers lessons in snowboarding and several of the area high schools have snowboard teams. Should greater interest arise, we will consider bringing snowboarding back into the fold.
