Snowboard Program Information
New, this season, MARA introduces a complete snowboard experience for 10 to 14 year old athletes. The program will emphasize free riding fundamentals, slope style skills and air. Athletes will develop the skills necessary to compete in this ever growing sport.
As much as possible, class groups of six to eight athletes are formed with similar ages and skill levels. The common goal is to continue snowboarding development and prepare for a lifetime of enjoyment.
One Day
– Saturday OR Sunday only, 9:30-3:00*
10-14 year olds
January 3 – March 28
Two Day
– Saturday and Sunday, 9:30-3:00*
10-14 year olds
January 3 – March 29
* Includes a
one-hour unsupervised lunch break.

Must know info:
All participating athletes must wear helmets and be able to link turns and comfortably board down all intermediate runs at Mt. Ashland. This is not a program to learn to snowboard, but rather an opportunity to improve existing skills
